Hi An open related intiative you might be interested in is a trial webcast of a Taupo District Council meeting today from 1pm. If you'd like to have a look - click here: http://taupocouncil.mediastreaming.co.nz/. Depending on the trial, we will look at providing on-demand options in future. Appreciate any feedback...similar initiatives are active overseas. Nice try. Unwatchably slow on my home DSL. Also doesn't work on Safari/Mac at all. Even so, though, all Councils should be doing this and well done to Taupo for showing the way.

Same problem here over our work DSL. May I suggest trying out a few different streaming providers such as justin.tv and some of the other international providers?
