Hi all,

Google has released an API & an easily embeddable widget for their people
finder: http://haiticrisis.appspot.com/embed

This is great news. Hopefully it will prevent a widespread proliferation of
what have become known as people finder apps. It also means that we can use
that information in other ways, such as http://haiti.sahanafoundation.org/

Looking forward to seeing many of you at the Public Sector miniconf of
LCA2010.
