Hi there,

I've launched a media marketplace <http://allaboutthestory.com>for stories
aimed at newspapers, magazines and websites. It's called All About The
Story<http://allaboutthestory.com>and I'd be glad of your help in
getting off the ground.

We're looking for good holiday reads at the moment that editors can use to
fill their pages over the slow news days of summer. Some editors are looking
for new voices for their opinion pages, we're seeing quite a lot of interest
in business and tech stories and newspaper editors want stuff for their
weekly sections such as Jobs, Motoring, Small Business and Lifestyle.

Idealog magazine has registered as a buyer and is looking for stories about
ideas, design and business.

I've seen first-hand that a lot of people on this mailing list are good
writers and I know you all have interesting stuff to talk about. So I'd love
to see you join the site and post a story or two for sale. It's quick and

<http://allaboutthestory.com/articles/new>stories, you retain ownership of
them, choose your own price and can edit or remove them at any time.

We need stories of publishable quality written in a style suited to
newspapers and magazines (get to the point, attribute information to the
source you got it from, check facts, semi-formal style, avoid sweary words,
use precise words rather than general phrases etc).
